Having spent ages searching through bags trying to locate some red yarn I decided it was time to convert this….
…into something more manageable.
With the aid of a small drawer unit donated by one of my boys (which has taken a surprising amount) and some vaguely colour co-ordinated bags, I can now find anything (she says optimistically). Plus I’ve got a whole new load of plastic bags for plarn projects – talk about win-win!
I keep opening the drawers for a little peek as everything looks so inviting when it’s all visible. If you look carefully, you can see the three pink and purple colours of eyelash yarn I’ve recently acquired for which I am looking for inspiration. Suggestions welcome.
I really need a larger drawer unit to take the lot but Christmas isn’t that far away so I’ve started my present list for Santa already 😉

I have an old toy chest that holds my stash. I love going in and looking at all my things. 🙂

It does look more inviting when it is tidy and visible. And it makes you want to start using your stash 🙂
That’s so true – I just want to get it all out and start using it – especially the ones I had forgotten about because they were buried at the bottom of a bag!
It feels so good to get organised, and you find all sorts of bits that you had forgotten about. The only trouble is it sets your mind going with a whole load of new ideas.
Tell me about it!!!!!!!! I am being very good at the moment and trying to finish off everything before starting something new….but we all know how that’s going to pan out 😉
At least you’re making effort to get it organized. Mine is in recycle bins…1 bin of 6 down…still have a trunkload plus a shelf in an armoire. You can always donate some.
